Originally conceived as an adjunct to vocational training courses at Further Education level, this course is designed with the novice in mind. It introduces the student to the basic underlying safety principles of stage combat whilst studying two weapon disciplines. Unarmed combat is compulsory - as it is most effective in helping the student to build confidence in technical and performance skills and team working. The other discipline can range from Sword, Staff, Knife etc, a decision which is left to the discretion of the Teacher who is running the course. This course involves a minimum of 20 hours study.

Exam Grades: Fail, Pass, One Star Two Star
